This was a kit build for a customer featuring some tight single coil pickups and a finish that developed over time.
Initially it was built as a ‘stickerbomb’ instrument, which you can see here:
After some time, the instrument was reinvented as a 60’s style bass with flatwounds and a rich mahogany finish with linseed and hand-rubbed shellac
