I really wanted to dig into some 60s psychedelic rock tone and I wanted to try the whole short scale flat wound sound.
Towards this end, I got a Hofner style hollow body kit and dressed it up a fair bit with a bunch of acrylic paints and some really zen painting sessions…
Gluing the neck in was tricky, but no problem in the end
