This was another fun ‘replicate that tone’ build, aiming at building a Fender Starcaster from a Squire CV re-release.

To make it feel like the real thing, a 50’s style (1meg) wiring harness was installed alongside Fender Wide-Range pickups.
The fretwork and nut also deserved attention, so I made a new nut from a blank, and did a full level and crown.
As a bonus, I gave the glossy neck a satin feel with some steel wool.
